To celebrate the 10th and 11th anniversaries of The Battle Cats in Taiwan and Korea, a campaign was created to mark the game’s decade of success. The concept centred on a music festival where the cats dance in celebration, using their in-game attack moves as choreography, with original game soundtracks remixed into EDM tracks to match the festival atmosphere.
The role involved setting the overall visual direction, developing the campaign lockup and key visual, and creating assets for rollout across multiple media while overseeing the final craft of the designs and guiding a senior designer supporting the Taiwanese rollout.
The campaign drove strong engagement across both markets. Korea saw a 47.09% increase in average daily active users, 24.59% growth in new users, and a 130.99% rise in returning players, while Taiwan recorded increases of 107.79%, 73.16%, and 140.39% respectively.
